The essentials

This policy describes how information is handled in sudokudo for iPhone and on this website. sudokudo does not require an account or login.

Your puzzles, settings, progress, and Kudo wallet are saved locally on your device. The app uses Google services for rewarded ads and privacy choices; those services may collect and process information as described below.

Your game data

sudokudo stores game saves, preferences, puzzle progress, and wallet balances on your iPhone. It does not send these saves to an app-operated gameplay server and does not provide its own account-based cloud sync. There is no app-owned analytics service in the current version.

Deleting the app can remove its local saves and wallet. Device backups are managed by iOS and your Apple settings; a backup or transfer of sudokudo data is not guaranteed.

Advertising & privacy choices

sudokudo integrates Google Mobile Ads for optional rewarded ads. Google’s disclosure says its SDK may handle IP addresses (including approximate location inferred from them), device identifiers, advertising interactions, crash information, and performance data for advertising and analytics.

The information processed depends on the SDK configuration, permissions, and your privacy choices. sudokudo itself does not request App Tracking Transparency permission or directly access the advertising identifier (IDFA). This does not mean that advertising services collect no data.

Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) manages advertising privacy messages. When UMP requires a privacy options entry point, you can revisit your choices in sudokudo’s Settings. The options shown can vary by region and consent status.

Purchases

sudokudo offers optional consumable Kudo purchases through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Apple processes the payment and does not provide sudokudo with your full payment-card details. The app receives transaction and product information needed to verify a purchase and credit Kudo to your local wallet.

Apple handles purchase-related information under its App Store & Privacy notice. Consumable Kudo is associated with the local wallet maintained by the app and is not an account-based balance operated by sudokudo.

Support & contact

If you email support, the operator receives your email address and the information you choose to include, such as your device details, a description of a problem, or screenshots. That information is used to respond to your request and investigate the issue. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, or unrelated personal information.

This website

These pages do not include advertising, analytics scripts, contact forms, or cookies set by the website code. The primary website is hosted by Vercel and may also be available as a GitHub Pages mirror. These hosting providers may process standard request information, such as your IP address, browser information, and requested URL, to deliver and secure the site.

Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.

Retention & your choices

Local game information remains on your device until it is changed or removed. The operator cannot access or delete your on-device saves remotely. Deleting the app can remove that information permanently, including your Kudo balance.

Google and Apple apply their own retention practices to information they process; see their linked privacy notices. Support correspondence is handled through Google’s Gmail service and is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, investigate the issue, maintain appropriate support records, or meet legal obligations.

Depending on your location and the information involved, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Contact the operator with a privacy request. Advertising choices can also be managed through the available options in Settings. You may have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Policy updates

This policy may change as sudokudo or its services change. The effective date will identify the applicable version.
